All About Paper Crafts, Scrapbooking Memberships, and More
EVERYDAY KIT CLUB (EKC)
What is the everyday kit club? The everyday kit club is a quarterly membership. You receive 3 project supply kits (sent via mail at the end of each month), 3 Project tutorials and the How to videos for each project. In addition, you also receive 3 bonus projects (no supplies for these) with tutorials and videos as well.
When can I join? You can only sign up during open enrollment. Once the Kit Club has closed you will need to wait for the next quarter to open in order to sign up. Kits cannot be purchased once the kit club is closed for that particular quarter.
How to I sign-up and learn more? When enrollment opens it will be posted to the Blog . The Sign-Up button for the EKC enrollment can be found in the Shop under Kits – A La Carte. If there is no button available there, the enrollment is currently closed. Enrollment is typically open for 2-3 weeks. Once you click the button to access the purchase page, there will be a brief description of the upcoming projects and paper collections.
When will I be notified about Kit Club Membership? You will receive a receipt for your purchase – please save this to a special email folder for reference.Welcome emails are sent out at the end of the month prior to the kit club starting. So if the kit club starts in May, you will receive your Welcome email on the last day of April. The Welcome email provides all the details on how the kit club works. Make sure to save the Welcome PDF file for future reference. You will also be given access to the shared Kit Club project folder on Box.com.
Will access to the Box project folder ever expire? No, you will have access indefinitely. When do kits ship? One really important lesson I have learned during the existence of the kit club is that delivery dates on kits will vary from month to month.I can’t set an exact date for shipping as sometimes the items I purchase for the kits are not available right away. I will always keep you posted of any changes. I normally have the kits out by the end of each the month. However, again, if that needs to change, I will do my best to let you know.
DIGITAL KIT CLUB (DKC)
If you love the kit club projects, but want to use your own supplies, then you can sign up for the Digital Kit Club (DKC). You get access to the 3 EKC Project tutorials and the How to videos for each project. In addition, you also receive the tutorials and videos for the 3 bonus projects.NOTE: This option is only available for purchase once the 1st project of the quarter has been released.
How will I get access to the Digital kit club? Once purchased, within 24 hours (not including Sundays) you will receive receive access to the Box.com project folder.
Will access to the Box project folder ever expire? No, you will have access indefinitely.
PROJECT KITS – A LA CARTE
Are there any kits outside of the kit club to purchase? Every once in a while I decide to make a project that is not a part of the EKC. Sometimes these projects also have kits – they can be found in the Kits A la Carte section of my Shop. These project kits usually include the tutorial (and sometimes the videos as well) Always read the purchase page to see what is included. If the videos are not included, they can be viewed by purchasing the Class Video Membership (CVM). For more info on CVM go HERE.
Do I get a tutorial if I purchase a kit? Yes, Kit purchases come with the tutorial (written instruction on how to make the project). Once you make a purchase for the Kit you will receive two emails: 1. Confirming your purchase on my site and 2. an email will be sent to you with a link to download the file or you will be invited to share the folder on Box.com
Do I need a membership to purchase an A-La-Cart Kit? No membership required, this is a onetime purchase.

Click Open. The file will be uploaded and saved to your Box account so you can log on from anywhere to access it.
Box.com Shared Folder Tutorials - Tutorials that are accessed via a shared folder on Box.com will NOT appear in your Order History – please make note of these purchases so that you do not repurchase them. For Box.com shared folders – you will be given access to the folder within 24 hours of your purchase. What is included with the tutorial? I create a tutorial of ALL of my projects. A project tutorial is step by step written and pictorial (pictures) instruction on how to make the project. My tutorials contain a lot of photographs to aid in the assembly process. Templates needed to create the project are included with the tutorial. Please ALWAYS read the purchase page in DETAIL to determine what is included in your purchase.
Do the videos come with the tutorial? Videos are not always included. If you also want the videos then you have the option of buying the Combo bundle (if available), the Digital Kit Club or the Class Video Membership (CVM). Again, the purchase page will explain exactly what is included in the purchase. When purchasing a Tutorial, think about whether or not you are going to want videos. This is important because if you are interested in the EKC project, you may want to think about purchasing the Digital Kit Club because you get the tutorial and the videos along with 5 other projects. Just some food for thought! The difference between the CVM and KC are the projects. With CVM you get all of the Project classes I have recorded not include KC projects. If you want KC projects you need to purchase the respective DKC, the Combo bundle (if available) or sign up during open enrollment. To learn more about CVM click HERE.All single tutorials can be found in the Shop under Tutorials.Tutorial & Video Combos can be found in the Shop under Tutorial & Video Combos.

BOX.COM INFO
Box.com is a storage website that all of Paper Phenomenon files are saved to. For purchases where you are receiving more than one file, is it easier to invite you to share the project folder on Box.com then having you download multiple files. In order to access these shared folders, you will need to create a FREE Box.com account. Once you make your purchase, within 24 hours, you will be invited to shared the folder. You will receive an email invite. Please click Accept on the email link, create your FREE Box account and you will now have unlimited access to the shared folders. If you already have a Box account, you may not receive the email invite – please just log on to your account and check for access. The default setting on all Box accounts, is to automatically accept invites to new folders – this means you will not receive the email invite. If you’d like to change this default and receive the emails invites, please do the following:
- Log on to Box.com,
- Click your name in upper right,
- Select Account Settings,
- On the top, select Content & Sharing,
- Uncheck the checked box under Collaborating on Content – Incoming invitations.
This will ensure you receive an email each time an invite is sent. You will notice that the shared folders are labelled “Externally owned”. This means you do not own them, so you cannot change or delete them but you can download any files from them that you want, as many times as you want.
I got an email about Box Sync – do I need this? For our purposes, you DO NOT need Box Sync. You only need a FREE Box.com account. If you receive an email from Box.com about Box Sync, please do not install it.
I
already have a Box account but the email is different from my PayPal
email, what do I do? All invites to a shared folder are ALWAYS sent to
the email address associated with the payment. Sometimes this email is
different from your log on email to Box.com.If you log on to Box with a
different email address than the one the invite was sent to; you will
not see the folder. You can fix this problem by adding your PayPal email
to your current Box account. To add another email address to your Box
account, please do the following:
- Log on to your Box account.
- Click your name in the upper right and select Account Settings
- Scroll down until you see Add Email
- Add the other email address and click Save. You will now have access to all folders for both email addresses.
I sometimes miss when Kathy updates a shared folder, is there something I can do to be notified? Yes absolutely! If you want to be notified any time there is a change to one of your shared folders, please do the following: Log on to your Box account. Click your name in the upper right and select Account Settings Click the Notifications link at the top menu bar. In the “in folders I’ve joined” column, select Uploads and Comments (do NOT select downloads or you will be flooded with emails!) Click Save REGISTERING/ORDER HISTORY
Do I have to register on the website? It is highly recommended that you sign in to the Paper Phenomenon website prior to placing an order. You will be prompted during your order process to do so.In order to sign in, you first have to register an account. Registering and then signing in before each order allows instant download purchases to be displayed in your Order history. However, only instant downloads will show. It is strongly suggested that you maintain a list of all PP purchases so that you do not have any duplication. Please also keep all email receipts in a special email folder for future reference.
Why aren’t all my purchases aren’t showing in my order history? Before making a purchase from the Shop, I highly recommend that you create an account on Paper Phenomenon. This way you can always go back to view your order history and access instant download purchases if you happen to lose a file. If you do not login, you will not be able to access your order history for downloading. If you didn’t log in to your account, there is no way I can go back and link a purchase to your account. Going forward, please just make sure you log in to your account if you would like a record of your instant download purchases in addition to your method of payment.NOTE: ONLY instant download purchase will display in your order history. Purchases that require a Box.com invite will NOT. Please make it a habit of writing down ALL your purchases for future reference and always save the email receipts to a special email folder.
